Eligibility & Admission Process for PGD

Admission Procedure
Our PG program is targeted towards individuals with high potential for success in the financial services sector. Selection at IIFP is therefore very rigorous & competitive. Applicants need to go through a written test, group discussion and interview process (the written test comprises essay writing, reasoning and logic capability).

Eligibility

The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree/Candidates pursuing their final year of graduation can also apply.
The Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualification) obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of 3 years of education after completing Higher Secondary School (10 + 2 or equivalent.

1. Application: IIFP Prospectus and Application Form and can be acquired by one time payment of Rs. 500/- for the program.

By cash payment at our campus (6-A,Atma Ram House,1 Tolstoy Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001)

By post (enclosing demand draft drawn in favor of “The Indian Institute of Financial Planning” payable at New Delhi)

2. Admission Test: Candidates are required to appear for FPMT-09 conducted by The Indian Institute of Financial Planning. The candidate has to undergo a rigorous selection procedure comprising of Written Test, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. All candidates who have appeared for CAT/ MAT can also apply to IIFP with their score. Short listed candidates will have to appear only for GD & PI. Group Discussion and personal interview are also integral components of the admissions process. The overall objective is to identify and assess the candidate’s communication ability, in addition to the overall knowledge of the student. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

3. Admission Offer: Final selection will be based on a careful evaluation of the applicant's academic record, work experience (if any), extra curricular activities, Group Discussion and personal Interview. Successful candidates will be informed of their final selection by courier/email/ phone call. The selected candidates must pay their first fee installment within 10 days of receiving the admission offer, failing which the offer will be withdrawn.

Eligibility & Admission Process for CFP

The minimum academic requirement is 10+2. The CFP^CM Program is open for anyone who wishes to acquire knowledge to become a trained financial planner. The course is optimal for students (Graduates or Post Graduates), working professionals, and others in the financial service sector.
Candidates are required to enroll with us for pursuing the course.
Our admission process is open round the year.
We have limited number of seats in each batch and depending upon the vacancy in each batch a candidate will be accommodated.
Our new batches start every 2 months.
The candidate under normal circumstances will be completing the programme in less than one year as per the course details and examination schedule of FPSB. IIFP will ensure completion of teaching in all modules accordingly. However the candidate can complete the course in a maximum time frame of seven years.
All candidates are required to apply to the Institute on the prescribed Application form duly obtained from the Institute or from the website.
The Fees can be paid in lump sum or in installments. The Fees is inclusive of Service Tax. Any other tax, if payable, as per government rules will have to be borne by the candidate.
